Abstract

Globally, the morbidity and mortality of chronic heart failure (CHF) are quite high, although there is an increase in the availability of cutting-edge diagnostic tools, effective drug therapies, and several guidelines for management of heart failure (HF). This study was designed to compile and assess ten moderately high-impact research papers published in 2024 on CHF. The top ten papers are related to the treatment of HF using semaglutide, tirzepatide, tadafil, implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD), transcatheter mitral-valve repair, and Heart-Mate3, a magnetically continuous flow left ventricular device (LVAD) and they reported acceptable results.
