Abstract

This presentation explores the career experiences of Egyptian International Medical Graduates (IMGs) navigating employment in the NHS. Drawing on doctoral research conducted at the University of Lancashire, it examines the structural and institutional factors that shape career progression, professional integration, and workplace identity for Egyptian IMGs. The session offers practical insights for IMG professionals and those supporting workforce development and inclusion in UK healthcare settings.
