David Jarratt

Tourism Studies, Tourism, Leisure and Well-being, Sense of Place, Heritage Tourism, Media Tourism, Coastal Communities

Dr David Jarratt is based in the Business School at the University of Lancashire, where he lectures in Tourism Management. He teaches at all levels, undergraduate and postgraduate. He has published on the visitor experience and sense of place as they relate to tourism and leisure. He also has an interest in heritage tourism; before entering academia David worked in this sector and in particular heritage tourist attraction management and event management. He has also been involved in delivering training for the travel and tourism industry.
