I am a cultural historian and analyst with an interdisciplinary academic background. My published work has explored subjects such as 'waste', cultural memory, technology, creativity and place and has received national and international recognition, including invited international presentations, television, radio and international media features. Since the early 2000s I have held academic posts at the Universities of Glasgow, St Andrews, Bristol, Manchester Metropolitan University, and most recently University of Central Lancashire (UCLan).
